HALFHEADS
Chinese Burns - Can Dig (Must Detroy Manikind, 2009)
Chinese Burns - Rohypnol (One Sided) (Leather Bar, 2010)

Sad news this morning of the passing of all-round legend and one of my childhood heroes Jimmy Stynes.
As a youngun going to the footy with my dad every weekend, Jimmy Stynes quickly became my favourite player. He entered the VFL as the underdog, a man from Ireland who wasn’t suppose to play footy, a towering ruckman who covered the ground like no other bigman & showed heart at every contest.
It wasn’t long until I had #11 on the back of my Demons guernsey, wearing it with pride.. I remember watching the count when he won the Brownlow medal in 1991, I was so excited for him and for the Demons, it was unheard of, a real pioneer of the game.
He played 244 consecutive games (AFL record) from 1987 - 1998, 264 in total & won four club best & fairests.
Post football career Jim focussed on his Reach Foundation to help troubled kids. He was awarded Victorian of the year in 2001 & 2003.
In 2008, Melbourne FC were on the brink of collapse. Stynes came in & took over as President, he rebuilt the oldest club in the league, reversing a 5million dollar debt.. all whilst being diagnosed with cancer.
RIP Jimmy, the greatest Demon of them all, on & off the field.
